NASA Curiosity Mars rover used its Navigation Camera Navcam on April 11, 2014, to record this scene of a butte called Mount Remarkable and surrounding outcrops at a waypoint called the Kimberley inside Gale Crater.
Ver en NASA ↗Patches of Martian sandstone visible in this view from NASA Curiosity Mars rover have a knobbly texture due to nodules apparently more resistant to erosion than the host rock in which some are still embedded.
Ver en NASA ↗NASA Mars Exploration Rover capturde this 360-degree view near the ridgeline of Endeavour Crater western rim. The center is southeastward. Rocks on the slope to the right of center are in an outcrop area targeted for the rover to study.

Ver en NASA ↗This image captured by NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft shows part of the border between Chandor and Melas Chasmata. The entire image is landslide deposits.
Ver en NASA ↗This image captured by NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft shows part of western Candor and the erosion of a large mesa. Layered materials are visible throughout the image.
Ver en NASA ↗This image captured by NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft is located in eastern Coprates Chasma. The branching features near the bottom of the image are spurs of rock in the cliff face.
